I try to make it a point to perform a random act of kindness at least once a month. It doesn't take much to make someone's day - buy a stranger a cup of coffee for no reason at all.
I am a firm believer in giving back to the community, throughout the years I have led or participated in projects for the Ronald McDonald House, Children's Hospital, Food Banks, Clothing Drives, Homes for Troubled Youths or Mental Disorders and many local initiatives.
One of the best experiences in my life was watching a little kid that I coached get his first hit. The expression on his face as he stood on first base was priceless.
I started as a den leader when my son joined cub scouts, it was an opportunity to participate in experiences he joined. I later became a cubmaster, assistance scoutmaster and have continued with the troop as an advisor and assistant with fundraising.
Gift of Life is an organization that manages organ donations in the Philadelphia region. On an annual basis I lead a team to raise thousands of dollars for the life saving efforts of this organization.

Discovered the experience of wine in 2002, was a member of a monthly wine dinner club, traveled to Napa a dozen times as a VIP attending private tastings, winemaker dinners and industry luncheons.
